Since I first acquired my telvanni tower at Tel Urvith I've aspired to make something larger more fitting and in a more suitable location and thus Tel Moonrar is born.
The first thing you should note is that there are no quests involved in this mod (that's not to say you can't have a bit of an adventure with it) it was primarily designed to be a tower mod and as so it includes individual chambered rooms which include:

Lower Tower
With guard post, entrance to dungeon, upper tower, trophy chamber and teleport crystal

Upper Tower
With bedroom and access to balcony and chambered rooms

Dungeon
With Dragons, loot ;) and exit to island

Trophy chamber
With manikin stands and trophy cases

Alchemy chamber
With many types of potted plants and complete with a set of alchemy baskets and alchemy gear

Spell craft chamber
With spell craft tome and Inscription

Library chamber
With lots of book space

Armory chamber
With manikin pods, weapon tables and a special set of amour

The tower is set on a new island which is NE of Sadrith Mora, it's quite large so you can't miss it, beware lowbie players the entrance is guarded by some small but powerful guards which you'll have to kill.

There is now a point to go down into your dungeon more often, the dragons down there have a tendency to horde precious items as well as large amounts of gold, the only problem is that you'll need to kill them to get at it ;)

This is a snapshot of some of the work in progress by the Tamriel Rebuilt team. It contains a significant portion of the western half of Mainland Morrowind, and is still far from being release-ready, but can already be played and explored. Exteriors are finished (but not always border-matched), but only some of the interiors and NPCs have been done. It goes without saying that this content comes with no warranties. Backup your savegame before you load this mod, and prepare to play the actual Heartland (once it is released) with your old save.
In terms of exteriors only, this alpha encompasses parts of our (future) Almalexia release (but not the city itself), all of Heartland, and the southern parts of Véloth. Over time, we will probably be adding more content to this as we finish.
This release is self-contained and does not conflict with the Sacred East v1.5 release (which contains all of our *finished* content as of August 2013). If you intend to play the Alpha together with Sacred East, ensure that you first install Sacred East and then the Alpha, since the Alpha has a newer version of the Data files. (Also, ignore the One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files errors you get when you start the game.)

The player can hire various staff through a new NPC in Ebonheart great hall.

To recruit your new staff, you will either need gold or items.
For example, to recruit a fisherman, you will need a fishing rod while to recruit a guard, you will need 600 septims.

Additionally, all staff members will have a monthly wage (200-400 gold) and will refuse to perform services until they are paid (they will stay where you put them though)
Once you have recruited someone, they will
follow you (to your home, presumably)
perform daily services
perform improved services after a pay raise.
carry and hold tools of their trade.
share lore related to their trade.

As an example, to hire an alchemist, you need a mortar. The alchemist will then hold a mortar and give you a selection of potions daily. After a pay raise (from 200 to 400 monthly) the potions will have a greater quality. He will tell you about the alchemical properties of plants.


Other remarks:

each employee actually carries a number of tools, some of them set up as a shield, or as a light (those will be used in darker rooms), remove the items you do not want them to use from their inventories.
you can fire your employees at any time.
you can hire any number of the same type of employee
you can lower their wages back if you do not like their improved service.
the names of classes have not been changed: your staff is compatible with Archimaestro Antares's Bigmod (highly recommended).

Alchemist: gives a selection of potions.
Mage: spellmaking, travel to Mage guilds, random soul gem or scroll.
Necromancer: restores magicka
Smith: repairs, give a hammer
Healer: heals, cures and restores
Merchant: has 2500 gold to trade
Guild guide: offers travel to Gnisis, Molag Mar, Fort Frostmoth, Mounrhold
Ashlander scout: offers travel to the 4 Ashlander camps. Fully fledged companion.
Butler: gives a drink of your choice
Cook: gives food.
Maid: grooms the player (personality buff)
Farmer: gives a variety of crops
Miner: gives a variety of ores and gems
Housekeeper: adopts cats and kittens
Fisherman: gives scales and dreugh wax.
Dancer: is a ballerina.
Bard: plays songs
Gardener: gives potted flowers (harvestable)
Librarian: gives a random book
Courtesans: massages (restore fatigue, fortify endurance)
Herder: breeds guars, possibly a pack guar.
Hunter: gives meat and hides
Sailor: updates world map with port towns, sings for a beer.
Agent: fully fledged companion
Seamstress: gives shirts, creates new (female) outfits.
Magician: trades an empty soul gem for a filled one, enchanter service, fully fledged companion.
Trainers: ... Train.
Guards: ... Guard, companions

Install

Unzip in you Data Folder. You will be prompted to overwrite the meshes, textures and icons folders. Do so.

Incompatibility

None I can think of, no cell has been changed.
The items, dialogue topic have their own IDs
No ingame npc or object has been modified.
